Hi Kelly. Thanks for your info re the hernias problem. I have taken the
plunge and ordered a Voldyne machine despite the extra shipping costs ( I
live in Liverpool, Merseyside UK.)..
I noticed your reference to the Howarth S2 with interest. I play mostly
Dixieland / Swing and for almost 50 years have played on my trusty Selmer
Centred Tone despite its intonational quirkiness.
Over the years I have bought several horns seeking the projection qualities
of my CT but with more accurate intonation.
The list includes Noblet,YamahaCX, Boosey Hawkes 926, & finally a Buffet
RC..
None of these can compare with the CT volume-wise, but I recently tried a
friends Howarth S2 and realised that this was the""Holy Grail" I had been
searching for. I intend to try and recoup some of my losses with the RC and
obtain a Howarth S2 as soon as I can resume playing..

REGARDS- HAROLD
