Hi,
I'm playing Beethoven 9 with my orchestra and have a question about=20
part two, which is written for clarinet in C. Are there any=20
transpositions available for clarinet in B flat (online)? I don't=20
have a clarinet in C nor the money to buy one at this moment and I=20
can't find anything on the net. ): Isn't there anyone who has a nice=20
homepage with transposed orchestral scores or something?
Thanks,
Ingrid

Dear Ingrid,=20
A. You could try to hire or lend a C clarinet: it is what the composer =
asked
for, or
B. There is software to scan your music with and to automatically =
transpose
it;=20
C. Indeed, perhaps someone has done that (transposing) before and made =
it
available on the Net and
D. perhaps it is time to join us in transposing (for instance) C parts =
in Bb
"on the fly" (i.e. while reading the Bb part) :-)=20
Ingrid, What orchestra and when?=20
