Elizabeth,

I think our other band played "With Heart and Voice" earlier this year. Th=
e name sounds really familiar, though I don't specifically remember the pie=
ce. I will ask the clarinet players in that band about it when we get back=
from break. (sooner if I catch any of them on IM).

As far as the B to C#, try one of the following two ways:
- Play your B normally and finger the C# as the B plus the lowest two trill=
keys. This is a little off pitch but it's the easiest way.
- Play your B normally, then raise your thumb (only) so it's not covering t=
he hole but still holding down the register key
You might work with a tuner as far as getting the pitch exact on the altern=
ate fingerings.
