Buenos dias, signorita! I'm playing the Ponchielli with my 2nd clarinetist
in the La Mirada SO, Don Blasick, on May 1st (Thursday). The group is the
Pomona Concert Band, a community group I've played with on and off since I
was 13. I'll post the concert info on this list come concert time. The
editor of this version is Fred Ormand, and is transcribed for modern wind
ensemble by a colleague of his at Indiana, Matt Ludwig. Very lightly
scored... no saxes and light percussion.
