I received email off-list that the name "Kinderclarinet" is an Eb. My
error, and thank you to the sender for the info.

But one of the "child clarinets" is in C. Would anyone offer an
opinion whether this instrument suggests the different sound character
that I would hear (compared to a Bb) from a full-sized clarinet in C?
Or are the "child clarinets" simply too different from full-sized
clarinets to represent the concert-quality 'C sound'?

Thank you,
