Hi all¬
In band, we're playing a "lovely" piece called "With Heart and Voice". I was
wondering if anyone has heard it/played it? It is definitely not one of my
favourite pieces!!! It's one of those songs that's not that much fun to
practice at home or to play as a band. The big variety of emotion and
expression it it is just. overwhelming?

Any who, now that I'm finished with venting, is there a simpler way to go
from High C sharp (not grand C) to B (thus, going through two *very*
different registers)? There are fast 16th notes in the song that require me
to go from those two notes.

Please, don't get me started on those 32nd notes!!

Also, just wondering, has anyone played in the pit orchestra for the play
"How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying"? I made it into the
orchestra, and I'm thrilled! I'm playing reed 4, and if you saw my other
recent post, it is why I'm looking for a bass clarinet because I'm going to
double on Bb and bass clarinets.
