Patricia,

I am not sure of the process for making or shipping reeds, but
luckily, I do not seem to have any reed allergies. I don't think
reeds are considered wood anyway, so I am not sure of the
differences in the makeup of cane and wood. I seem to only be
allergic to certain woods anyway, specifically, pine, spruce,
fir, and oak. I probably don't have a lot of contact with raw
wood particles of other woods.
