Yipes! Glad my earlier message helped.

My husband hasn't developed such a generalized allergy to wood particles,
maybe because his allergy was detected so fast that his exposure to the
trigger was brief. (Human bodies vary an awful lot, too. Poison ivy grows
wild with enthusiasm all over my neighborhood in Virginia, USA. One of my
neighbors pulls up his poison ivy vines without even wearing gloves, and
never gets a rash! He's about 60. He says he's weeded out poison ivy with
his bare hands since he was a child.) My husband's allergic reactions
stopped short of anaphylactic shock, fortunately; and he can still do
woodwork, as long as he avoids cocobolo.

Well, if the modern Frankensteins have their way, someday we'll all be
allergy-free, immune to every disease and ready to live into the 8th, 9th
and 10th Ages of Man (Boredom, Overpopulation and Mandatory Euthanasia);
and we'll all look exactly like Dolly the Sheep.
;-)
