Annie, Let me know if you find a suitable microphone. I use a very cheap
PC microphone (in fact, I think it was even free after a rebate) and I've
had great success with it. My mini disk recorder is a Sony also. The only
thing I regret is that I cannot transfer files to my computer easily with
it.

Thank you, Nancy. I believe that I am going to figure out an affordable
way to make CD's off my Sony Mini Disk recorder to help illustrate
points (say for articulation) for anybody who wants help. I need to call
SONY and get a suitable microphone that fits my machine. This sort of a
project is fun for me and helps me to teach my own students better.
Articulation is one of the most difficult things to teach, and I was
taught by the best. So I am so happy that there is one thing I know how
to teach and get results. I think That Tony Pay and Dan Leeson would
like the sound of my articulation even though I do not have their vast
knowledge of the various applications of proper articulation throughout
the history of clarinet music. ANNIE
