Subj: [kl] Tony's note on Castelnuovo-Tedesco

Attended a performance of Trovatore today and Mark Brandenburg (who Tony
mentioned with respect to him seeking out the source material for the
Castelnuovo-Tedesco) was supposed to play but did not. However, he
showed up to watch the last act having been in a rehearsal in Santa Cruz.

I asked him about his research and his eyes lit up like Xmas trees
saying, "How on earth do you know that Tony asked me to do that?" And I
replied, "I'm psychic."

Later I couldn't let him suffer so I told him of Tony's posting. He
said that he had to order the material from a distant location and had
just gotten it, but had not yet looked at the matter.

So I said, "Hurry up. 300 people are waiting on you."
