Although it won't hurt to try, Vandoren's recommendation for the 5RV (a
newer version of the 2RV) is a little bit harder reed. They recommend the
equivalent of an Vandoren 3 to 4, which would be about the same as a 3.5 to
4.5 in most other brands of reeds.
