Here's a tip for you.
If there is going to be a piano accompanist available at your audition, for the Mozart, as there was at the last Lyric Opera Audition -
Call ahead and see what pitch they use. I showed up with mouthpiece and barrel ready to play at A=440 (or slightly higher) and was confronted with a very sharp piano. I don't even want to guess where that sucker was.
A very disconcerting situation to be in - right in front of the committee!!!!!!
