That's what I play. I'm happy. Howarth has two models --- "S2" and
"S3". The S2 is their earliest model with reduced resistance and a
larger bore, but still less than a "big jazz bore". The reduced
resistance is very noticeable.

The S3 is a smaller bore with a <metaphor alert> purer and more focused
sound.

One one occasion, I need to talk with Howarth directly (about keywork
and machining a barrel), and I found them to be totally friendly and
relaxed and willing to respond to my questions without trying to sell me
yet another instrument.
