Walter,

I recently went to a teacher's mid-winter conference in St. George,
Utah. St. George is Utah's warmest winter place. (Lots of people are
going there to live out their retirement years because of this.)

On display was a new, low C Buffet bass clarinet. The first day, the
low D wouldn't return to open on its own. By the end of the second day
all three of the lowest notes were binding and out of commission. I
told the Buffet rep, "Welcome to Utah."
