People who make or refinish mouthpieces use a kit that measures
mouthpiece facings. While the facing is but one aspect in how a
mouthpiece plays, having some basic knowledge about your piece can help
you in your search for a replacement. You need to connect to anyone of
those people who make custom mouthpieces: Payne, Morgan, Grabner,
Fobes, Hite, etc.
