My Yamaha YTS-52 tenor sax has parts made in Japan but was assembled in
Grand Rapids. It is considered "made" in USA. As they list the metal
contras on the website, they consider them to be Leblanc FRANCE. Besides,
I don't believe the overhaul after shipment would be at all
necessary. Note that they do make a PLASTIC contrabass under the Vito name
in the U.S. That might be causing some of the confusion.
