If I read correctly, the contra section of the Leblanc factory in France
was shut down in 1999 and then all the machinery moved to Kenosha. I did get
to see a new EEb in the black finnish at one of the schools and thought how
nice it would have looked in gold lacquer with nickel keys. The black one I
saw was dull and actually, quite ugly to my eyes. Willie

Very lovely instrument, with the body in a black lacquer and nicely plated
keys. Nice sound, easy response, all the way down to low C (an octave lower
than my low C bass - WOW).

made in Kenosha, or do they come from France and have final assembly only in
Kenosha?

up in flames.....OUCH!

with three "mis-adjustments" which should have been caught somewhere in QC.

two Bb's, an A, an alto and a contrabass clarinet come into my shop!
