Yes, I realize that it would be good for me to learn to
transpose while playing, and I am getting better at it
all the time, but I have a MAJOR hearing problem~by
which I mean, without hearing aids I would not be
able to play (and I am in five different ensembles with
some very sweet people who have learned to work with
me, instead of getting all frustrated and telling me to get
lost!) I really have to CONCENTRATE so much to
avoid losing my place, and I watch the other players quite
a bit, so I am using my eyes instead of my ears for a lot of it
already.....I have a Bb and an A, and the need for a C
doesn't come up THAT often, although I seem to recall
re-copying Rosamunde a couple years back....
I have considered getting a C horn, especially for playing
at church, but that's on my wish list for now...
Thanks,
Sue
