Central Michigan University clarinet professor Kennen White has asked me to
pass on the following information:

Crescent Duo, a flute/clarinet duo consisting of Joanna Cowan White, flute,
and Kennen White clarinet will be performing in the music building at
Central Michigan University on Tuesday, February 18, 8 p.m. in celebration
of the release of their new CD Flights of Fancy: Crescent Duo on Centaur
Records (1-877-CENTAUR, www.centaurrecords.com). The concert will include
works from the CD by Rutter, Sloane and Dietz and trios by Piston (with
bsn), Arnold (with ob) and Gillingham (with alto sax). In addition, there
will be 4 new works, commissioned especially for this concert. Two works on
the concert use bass clarinet and flute. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for
students.
