Hello list,

This is my first post ever, so bear with me.

One of my students is currently working on Baermann's Adagio (attributed

to Wagner) and I have a question about a particular note. In measure
18, beat 3, is the G supposed to be G natural, or G sharp? The part is

marked a G natural, but I remember that when I studied it my teacher
told me to change it to a G sharp. So, I was wondering what the members

of this board know about that note. I have the David Hite edition of
this piece and have no access to other editions at this point.

I have checked the archives and there isn't any mention of this note
discrepency.

Thank you for your help, and as always your lively and very imformative
discussions. There are many times when just reading the numerous posts
inspires me to learn more and more about the clarinet.
