Dear Clarinetists,
I just now got an email from Larry Guy, who earns his living
playing clarinet in Broadway pit orchestras. Right now, Larry and Jon
Manasse are playing in the Broadway version of "La Boheme". Larry just
told me that the musicians are in some very serious negotiations with
the producers of the Broadway Musicals, who want to eliminate all of the
pit musicians replacing them with pre-recorded music and synthesizers.

and sign their petition. They have a very nice website. It is definitely
