Elizabeth, I basically agree with you. I have grown to have a lot of
respect for some of the list members who go on and on about a note or
two. When they get excited, it reminds me of a pro-wrestling match. I
don't have time to read every word of their posts because I am very busy
teaching my clarinet students and playing gigs. I had a similar reaction
as you to a couple of our list members who were very knowledgeable,
opinionated, sometimes pompous and rather long-winded. Although I am not
an intellectual, I have grown to respect these folks very much, even
consider one of them a dear friend, although he may not feel that way
about me. ANNIE
