Just wanted to say thanks to Walter and Clark for the info on the eefer
mouthpiece. At least I know now that it's probably not all me! And I
will be going to the music store this weekend to see what those guys
have for new mouthpieces (or to tell them what to order! - they might
as well pay the duty as me!). For now that'll be my fix. I do think
I'd like to eventually purchase an Eb but since I am just steps away
from my new Bb (yay!) my pocket book is telling me to hold off on the
Eb purchase. ... Especially since my other hobby (photography) is
feeling quite neglected with all this clarinet business!

As for the reeds, yes I was aware of the White Master but had never
tried them. When I picked up the clarinet again I just tried the V12s
at the recommendation of the 'band guy" and just fell in love with
them. I had asked for the Eb V12s too but the order got screwwed up.
Actually, now that you mention it, I do have a vague recollection of
using Bb reeds on the Eb back in high school. I think I did it to
save money. Why didn't anyone tell me that that was when I actually
had a disposable income? :)

And sorry 'bout getting the name of the mouthpiece wrong but if you
could see this particular mouthpeice you would probably think, as I do,
that I was pretty lucky to be even that close. I actually did a pencil
rub thing to get Bundy. Which, if I was thinking before I typed,
should have clued me in. ooops!

Cheers,
Barb
