I have a reed question.....a friend of mine who is a very
good woodwind player/repair person tells me that if
you are playing on a very stiff reed, you probably have
the wrong mouthpiece for you.
He has been playing clarinet for close to sixty years,
and uses a 2 1/2 reed....I am not sure what brand.
I play on Vandoren V12 2 1/2 reeds, and when I
tried 3 1/2's, I had to really scrape them down to get
them to respond.
So, what's the deal with all these people playing on
4's and 4 1/2's?????
