Unless you specifically want the sound of the C clarinet, I wouldn't
bother. The sound of the C clarinet is significantly different from the
clarinet in Bb. Also, a pro clarinetist is going to own a Bb clarinet and
play it, just like the kid in marching band. Most pro players don't own a
C clarinet, although more and more orchestral players are getting them.
