Rigel,

I generally soak the reeds in a cup with about 1 part sterisol and five
parts water. I let the reeds sit there about twenty minutes. I usually do
this with three reeds. After that, I rotate the three new reeds(each
numbered) into my warm up sessions, playing between on each reed about
fifteen minutes. I do this once a day, about three times a week. After about
two weeks my reeds are generally in playing condition. The average life of
my reeds is anywhere from a three weeks to about four and half months.
