I would "assume" that there are literally hundreds of chamber music workshops
around the country at various times of the year. For example, check out:

Also, I can't remember whether or not the original "poster" had done a
Google.com or similar search on "adult amateur music festivals" or "adult
amateur music workshops." There's a whole lot of information out there.
Don Gross
La Canada, California...who "used" to regulary attend the summer chamber
music workshops at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California and at
Southern Oregon State College in Ashland, Oregon. At Ashland you also get to
attend their world renowned Shakespeare Festival.
