Subj: [kl] neckstrap predicament
Date: Sun, 2 Feb 2003 05:58:43 -0500

Hey all--

I'm playing on a Vintage R-13 and every now and then my right hand gets
tired supporting the instrument. Sure, I could use my knees to hold up the
instrument, but I don't like disrupting my sound. I have a simple
neckstrap, but unfortunately, the strap's hole does not fit around my
awkward thumb rest. The thumb rest is adjustable with a simple screw
sticking out.

Does anyone have a suggestion for either a) how I can get the strap to work
with this or b) what kinds of neckstraps might work with this kind of rest?
I _KNOW_ the neckstrap industry is just SO lucrative and there are plenty of
different ones...oh gee, was that sarcasm?

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Rob
