I'm curious to know what ligature you used with the Quebec cut reeds.
That's asked with the idea that the fiber-type ligatures (Rovner, BG) seem
to me to act like a low-pass filter, ie., taking out the highs.
Perhaps the Quebec cut reeds might work better with something like a Bonade?
