Make sure that the reed holder gets washed out and disinfected
periodically. It can be difficult to get in the small grooves to get
everything that lives in there.

"I have a student that gets a black spot on the reed right in the middle!
I've given her my Vandoren reed holder with the charchol to try to
prevent, but she still gets the black spot. Does anyone have any
suggestions??=20"
