Oh, yes. I'm a firm believer in chiropractic. I was actually first
introduced to one by a surgeon in the seventies at Adventist Hospital in
Glendale (CA) after a fall. He fixed a hernia, where my diaphram was
torn -- my breath support has been mucked up ever since -- but didn't want
to do the back surgery. He said that the effects of surgery were often
worse than the injury. I've found them to be incredibly helpful.

And neck manipulation helps this for a couple of hours. Never stops the
pain and cold, but helps it. And had the tests come back as CTS, I'd have
spent a great deal more time with him. (I have to do it on the qt, because
my family doctor despises chiropractors, and refuses to refer for insurance
purposes. I was interested that both the orthopaedist and the neurosurgeon
asked, among the first questions, whether I had tried chiropractic and did
it help. My MD is almost ready to retire, and I may just need to find one a
bit younger and more liberal in that particular direction.)
