I've been trying to answer this question for days, but every time I try,
Shadow Cat wakes up and stares at me with

I'm making my stupid pet human type this. Since Shirley's a good guard cat,
then it's completely obvious why she sleeps on the cl*r*n*t case: to keep the
nasty screech-stick from getting out! It can propel itself around like a
centipede, by opening and shutting its keys in sequence, you know. It might
get out and breed with another screech-stick and then you'd have evil little
eefers chasing the kittens around and squealing at them. Are they Shirley's
kittens? If so, she's also been lying on the case to safely introduce the
kittens to the enemy and to warn them about it, before they were born.

You don't need any rotten ideas from Lelia on what to name the kittens, so I
won't let her finish that message. She was going to approve of some of those
screech-stick-related names other people suggested. Ick! Hisssssss! Well,
no matter what you call them, they'll all have their own, secret names, known
only to cats. So there.

Ssssst!
and best wishes to Shirley and the kittens!
