Now I get it. It isn't the tone hole you fill in, it's the key, so there is
a pad or some such that actually seals the hole rather than the tip of the
finger. Like a saxophone or a soprano sax. Now, that's kinda interesting. I
can see where this process would come in quite handy for someone with
difficulty keeping a seal with their fingers.
