Dear Bill,
My adult student is 53 years old and was born with a congenital
condition, "Congenital Benign Tremor" in his left hand and fingers. On a
bad day his fingers shake so much that he has trouble covering the holes
of the clarinet. I was thinking that it might be easier for him if the
holes of the index finger and next finger were made sort of like a
closed holed flute. My student is a Doctor and he loves his clarinet
lessons. To him it is sort of like physical therapy for his hand. ANNIE
