Hi Rebecca,

You are very young and you appear to be a very decent person, so I suspect
you really didn't know what you were getting into when you took this job;
and you probably wouldn't do it again. If I'm right, then in my book, that
takes you off the hook -- pun definitely intended -- as long as you don't do
it again! :-)

If you need a job, why not consider a fast-food place, grocery store, or a
real restaurant (where you can also earn tips)? When I was in high school,
some friends and I worked at McDonald's; and I had other friends that worked
at a grocery store. Not the most pleasant jobs in the world, but certainly
better than telemarketing (no offense intended).
