Right about cats being unable to play the clarinet. In fact, one evening I
kept my clarinet case open on the floor, and the next morning I discovered
that one of my wife's cats, who was on his way to his 21st year, had used
it as a litter box.

I no longer have either cat or wife. But my reeds have nine lives.
