I dunno. The Legere works well on my 5RV Lyre. So do the V12 3.5s, as a
general rule.

The Van Doren Optimum ligature mitigates against the Legere's tendency not
to sit squarely on the mouthpiece, and I have had good luck using it on the
5RV Lyre.

However, to get good performance from a Legere, I need to be cautious about
how much and where on the reed I tighten the ligature. The Legere has a
tendency to slip, which of course is not helpful.

however, is that Legere reeds do not seem to do as well with a mouthpiece
with a concave table, as they do on a mouthpiece with a flat table.
