Has anyone found that particular ligatures work better with Legere reeds?

Depends entirely on which mouthpiece I am using. My Hites play better with
my Harrison ligatures, my Greg Smith mouthpieces play better with Rovner
Eddie Daniels model ligatures and my crystals play better with inverted
Bonades.
