Elizabeth, a screw that needs to be tightened daily is *never* normal on any
instrument. This normally happens because the screw is binding on the inside
of the key axle, so every time you move the key, it turns the screw a
little. Of course, you can just keep tightening it whenever it's loose, or
have a repair tech properly match things up so the screw doesn't bind.
