So do we/you quit everything that is "not fun"?

Or....in the case of a parent or even a teacher; do we allow our children to
"quit" everything they don't perceive as being "fun"?

You have identified a very important psychological issue involved in the
learning process.....study it well in school and observe and study how the
best parents and teachers deal with the issue. It will serve you well when
you start to teach.

You've made a good observation....
