I bought one of these, it arrived in August after about a one year wait. It
is wonderfuly well made. The distal bore is greatly reduced. It plays very
well in tune, the throat register is very fine, the highest notes do not
have to be supported so rigorously as they do on my Buffet and Selmer
clarinets. I bought a Bb, I have ordered an Eb. I only play clarinet in
bands, so I do not need an A or a C.

I played Professor Benade's NX clarinet in 1978, the instrument that was the
model for the Fox NX. 25 years later a comparison by memory is certainly
not valid, so let me instead say that I liked them both.

If you are in Switzerland sadly I cannot have you come over to try it, but
Steve will tell you who in your neighborhood might have one. I recommend it
highly.
