Domain names by themselves are no longer $35/year unless you are just
paying too much. The par is between $9 and $12/year. I personally prefer
gandi.net for registration because of their policies, if all I want is
registration. They will also do e-mail relaying and I believe they will
host your web site for you or they will automatically relay it to yahoo or
angelfire for that same price. I believe it ends up being 12 euros, so how
much it will cost you in your local currency depends on the cost of the
euro in your local currency.

However, for about $35-$45/year, you can usually get a domain name and
limited hosting, e-mail accounts, etc.

If you doubt that magnet therapy works, I put to you this observation: When
refrigerators were first invented, in the 1940s, they were rather
unreliable, but then they became significantly more reliable. The basic
design of the refrigerator did not change, and we all know that quality was
important back then, so I doubt that newer refrigerators are made better.
Refrigerators have become more reliable because of the rise of the
refrigerator magnet.
