Another film with a clarinet-playing character
is the long, two-part adaptation of Dickens'
Little Dorrit. Dorrit's uncle is a clarinet
player in a theater orchestra, and is heard
on several occasions practicing or performing
the clarinet solo from Verdi's Forza. More
music by Verdi figures into the film.
