Apropos, of this discussion . . . Is anyone aware of any efforts to use
vintage instruments (HP or not) to recreate the sound of a traditional jazz
band of 80 years or a concert band (think Sousa) of 100 years ago?

I think it would be interesting to hear what the use of vintage cornets, Db
piccolos, Eb horns, etc. would sound like.
