I don't know what's going on, but only 60 seconds after I posted my
first message under a new name, I started receiving spam.

I know that I can scan message headers and use the <delete> key. If it
were only an occasional spam, I would do so and shut up about it.

But too much effort is required to fight this stuff..... whether it's a
virus that has infected all of my ISP, or perhaps someone who is
subscribed to Klarinet has set up automated name-harvesting software
(before messages get into the archive), or perhaps something has become
embedded in my most recent account.... again.....

I have no idea.

I've exceeded my pain threshold. I'm sorry to leave. Listening to
other clarinetists' conversation is as educational for me as it is
enjoyable. But this is simply too much.

Happy Holidays to everyone....even the socially handicapped twit who is
doing this stuff.
