With all due respect, "P.", it is much, much easier for me to believe that you
misunderstand your teacher's equipment than it is to believe he/she can play
reliably and consistantly an octave above the staff using a reed of strength 1.
Rather than reinforcing a misunderstanding, I think it would be useful for you
to confirm this information and get back to us.
