Richard,

If memory serves me well, the reason I hadn't been able to
program the Three Songs of Innocence on a recital was because it
WAS a mezzo piece, and I have only done chamber recitals with
lyric or coloratura sopranos. I believe it only goes up to an E
(top space *in* the treble staff) which should be great for a
mezzo. I don't believe alto range was used either. It was all in
the staff.
