It is all dependant on many factors, including the mouthpiece you are using.
I have had better luck with the blue box Vandorens. I have a number of
colleagues who have found the same thing. I find there to be more ring,
resilience, and longevity in these than the V12. I have tried the V12 a
number of times and have had better success consistently with the
traditional Vandorens. I think that each player has to try and see what
works best on their set up.
