I have had good results with the zonda reeds as well as rico grand concert
selects.

But I still play vandorens more than anything - old habits.

Hi, all-

I'm the person who has just started playing again after a 12 year break.
I'd purchased a couple of boxes of reeds: Vandoren V12s and Glotins, the
same brands I'd played on previously.

Surfing over to Weiner Music (http://www.weinermusic.com) to purchase some
more, I ran across this overwhelming selection of clarinet reed
manufacturers, many of which I'd never heard of:

Alexander Superial *
Australia
Brancher *
Bari *
Bay
BG
Daniels *
Emerald
Fibracell
Glotin
Gonzalez
Hemke
John Denman
La Voz
Legere
Marca
Mitchell Lurie
My Masterpiece***
Olivieri
Opera
Populaire
Peter Ponzol
Prestini
Regal Queen
Rico
Reed Blanks
Rousseau
Vandoren
Roy Maier
Sax Tech
Zonda

I thought it might be fun to try a new brand or two, but I have no idea
where to start. Does anyone have a favorite that they'd recommend?
