However, I don't think dancers do much sight reading.
I have often reflected in recent years on what an incredible accomplishment
of human intellect it is, that it is possible for a large number of
musicians to play a piece of music that they have never seen before and
play it well the first time. I have been unable to think of any comparable
activity.
